Some mat work.

Cotton mat with Dad's ole Navy Colt that has engraving of tall ships on the cylinder.

4 little thump mats I tied for a knot board project.

Knotted Picture Frame

A knotted picture frame using almost 40' of nylon line. This is the link to a tutorial I made for this project.

Rope grommet with a couple of ole fishing lures Uncle Jim gave me.

Some early work

So I thought I'd show a use I came up with that allowed the good ole' rope ladder (found in The Marlinspike Sailor by Hervey Garrett Smith) to come back to a useful life and make the little woman happy at the same time. Unfortunately, I didn't get to reap the rewards I thought I'd get as I broke one of her lighthouse plates (notice the clock) while hanging them on homemade hooks made from coat hangers.

A monkey's fist key fob I gave to a friend.

Another one for another friend.
Same monkey fist key fob after a repair.

A 12part x 12 bight, 2 pass, Type 1 Pineapple Knot key fob.

My granddaughter, Ali, one of my biggest fans. LOL
She loves them because they're high in Vitamin K!
